Bunker Sand

White Bunker Sand A mined natural silica sand washed and graded to meet industry specifications (Brown & Thomas 1986).  Particle size distribution and sub-angular particle shape provide exceptionally good playability and maintainability.  Its high infiltration rate results in exceptional drainage.  A penetrometer rating of over 2.5 minimizes buried lies when placed at a maximum of 4 inches in depth. The soft white color provides excellent definition and aids in depth perception. Buff Bunker Sand A mined silica sand exhibiting all the physical and performance characteristics of the white bunker sand, but having a light tan color when a more natural appearance is desired.
